About us

Cllr Tony Coughlan

I’m a Councillor at Woughton CC and have a strong record of working with local people to get problems fixed. I love the community spirit of our neighbourhoods and can often be seen working to protect our local environment for future generations.

Dr Leigh-Anne Perryman

I’m standing as an Independent to give local people a stronger voice and to make sure the priorities of residents in Woughton & Fishermead are properly heard and acted on.

I’ve been a family carer for many years, so I understand first-hand the pressures many people face. I also support other carers to access the help they need. I care deeply about fairness — whether that’s improving access to social housing, strengthening renters’ rights, or making sure everyone has better opportunities in education.

Locally, I have a track record of getting things done. Working with residents and other independents, I’ve helped tackle issues like fly-tipping and broken street lighting. I want to see safer, cleaner streets and redways, better access to green spaces, and more opportunities for young people.

Alongside this, I work in education, helping to bring in funding and develop projects that support fairness and opportunity for communities like ours. I’ve also worked on initiatives that promote practical action on the environment — focusing on making our area cleaner, greener, and healthier without losing sight of everyday concerns.

I’m committed to standing up for all seven estates in Woughton & Fishermead and making sure our community is not overlooked.
